Checks that explain themselves

September's 92 commits focused on making clock-ins trustworthy and easy to audit. Each company can now set how much tolerance its geofences allow, and TimeKeeper stores the location accuracy reported with each punch. When a clock-in is accepted because it fell within that tolerance, it is labelled as such, and the app explains why a borderline clock-in was accepted or refused. We also tightened the location check itself.

Face recognition got its own admin screen. Every face attempt from Pulse and Connect is now recorded, not just the refusals, so failed verifications can be reviewed. Administrators can choose the liveness check Pulse uses and switch on hands-free clocking, and existing face enrollments can be imported from Workforce.

Fingerprint terminals

Team member profiles show whether someone has fingerprints enrolled on a terminal, and a roster lists who is ready to clock. Punches from fingerprint terminals at an assigned branch are accepted without GPS, and TimeKeeper now classifies each one as an in or out by looking at the nearest shift boundary.

Supervisors and sign-off

Supervisors gained a workspace inside Mintage Connect, with the same timesheet timeline administrators see, scoped to their own team. Timesheets can now be finalised one day at a time, each finalised day carries a check mark that can be withdrawn, and approvals can be done in bulk. Views can be filtered by department, missed clock-outs on unscheduled days can be fixed, and companies control which years of payslips employees can see in Connect.
