Sharing more with TimeKeeper
September continued August's work with TimeKeeper. TimeKeeper can now fetch the face images employees enrolled in Workforce, so an employee does not have to enrol twice when an organisation uses both products. TimeKeeper can also file its employees' documents in Workforce, keeping one document record per person rather than two. A bug that mixed up the employee and the document in these relayed requests was found and fixed in the same week.
Which payslip years an employee may see is now kept in step, so the answer is the same whichever product they look in.
Signing in with work accounts
Staff can now sign in to Workforce with their existing company work account, the same single sign-on flow Mintage Payroll already offers. For organisations that manage their staff accounts centrally, this means one less password to remember, and access that ends automatically when the account is closed. Because it mirrors the way Mintage Payroll handles work accounts, staff who use both products sign in to each in the same way.
Smaller items
Support can now export the user directory page by page, loan receipts download correctly again, and dependencies were updated as security advisories came in. With ten commits it was a quiet month, but the work on shared faces and documents is the kind that removes duplicate effort for HR. For employees, the visible difference is that their photo, documents and payslips are the same wherever they look.
