A table that fits your company
Every company tracks pay a little differently. Some need a dozen allowance columns, others need three. In August we moved column settings onto the payroll page itself. You pick the columns you want, press save, and the table remembers. The old separate settings screen was removed, and the same idea was applied to the team members list.
Custom fields now respect permissions, so people only see the fields their role allows. The colour picker for highlighting columns was replaced with a swatch picker.
NIS and reporting
Payroll teams can now adjust the employer NIS amount when needed, and the NIS online text file lets you choose the contribution month. We fixed a NIS rounding issue, fixed the button that turns NIS on or off for an employee, corrected a NIS report, and retired an old workaround from 2022 that was no longer needed.
A new report exports pension fund history to a spreadsheet, and payroll exports can now include custom fields. Payslips can be grouped when sending, and the salary calculator received a fix. If a report download does not start on its own, there is now a button to start it by hand.
Account tools
We began building account tools inside the product, starting with billing contact details and more usage statistics, and added a resources section to the navigation. With 120 commits, August was a steadier month after the pace of the spring.
