Readable change history and faster scheduling

Profile changes now read as plain-language history, payroll sync status shows on each profile, and schedules can be copied and assigned in bulk.

Who changed what

Workforce has recorded changes to employee records since February, but the raw record was hard to read. In June each profile gained a change history written in plain language, with readable labels for every field, including edits made in the web app that had been missed before. Profiles also show whether the employee is in step with Mintage Payroll, which employees came from Payroll in the first place, and how many possible duplicate records exist, both on the employee list and on the dashboard.

Scheduling and attendance

Building schedules got much quicker. A month's schedule can be copied into another month by weekday pattern, and schedule templates can be assigned to a whole department or designation at once. Large bulk assignments run in the background, and duplicate schedule entries are refused instead of quietly created.

Attendance now shows where each clock-in came from, for example Connect or a kiosk, with weekly metrics by source and a monthly view of the organisation overview. A face enrolment roster shows who still needs to enrol.

Leave and housekeeping

Leave entitlements now keep a ledger of entries, so carry-over and manual adjustments are recorded line by line rather than overwriting a number. People who manage or approve leave can override balance limits when there is a good reason. Seven-digit phone numbers are given the +592 country code automatically, the employee list filters by probation and new hires, and dashboard cards link straight to the employees behind each number.

We also did a round of security hardening, added automated code scanning, updated dependencies and upgraded the underlying framework.
